I have a question about gustar:
Instead of saying something like 'me gusta jugar videojuegos' or 'Cuando era niño me gustaba nadar con mi perro.' which mean 'I like TO PLAY video games' or 'I liked TO SWIM with my dog', how do you say 'I like PLAYING video games' or 'I liked SWIMMING with my dog when I was a child'?
I know about conjugating verbs to have the -ando or -iendo endings but I also know that you need an infinitive after gustar. Is there another set of conjugations I´m not aware of or is it just not possible to say it the way I want to in Spanish?
Actually, it's the same. It's just that way to say it. They're 2 ways to say it in English, but only 1 way in Spanish.
