Play Stage
Posted in Antiques on 07/17/2009 08:04 pm by adminwhat colors of lightings will i use for a stage play with a topic about vampire?
a vampire is the main character in the play and i am thinking what would be the best lightings that i will use. also, the set design and the props. the background music also.. please help me.. thanks!
Out of curiosity, why are you deciding all of this? Theatre is a collaborative process and should be done as a group with a lighting, scenic, and sound designer. If you're a playwright writing this, the designers will just ignore what you have. Use your words to create the scene that presents a picture, don't tell the designers what to do.
Also, don't use red light everywhere, way too obvious. I'd go cold and sterile. Red light is more of a dance/sfx thing since it makes actors look funny on stage.
