Kiln White

I am doing my first firing all by myself in my electric kiln. I am firing Amaco No. 38 White Stoneware hand built pieces but have no idea what temperature to bring it up to for a bisque firing. Any insight would be super helpful.
It is a high fire clay and it looks like you can fire it from cone 5- cone 10.

But usually bisque firing is done at a lower temperature, between cone 04 and 08. Probably cone 05 or 06 is most common.
You can look up the corresponding temperature range on a pyrometric cone chart:

If you have a kiln sitter of the appropriate cone the kiln sitter will bend when the appropriate temperature is reached and shut the kiln off. So if you have a kiln sitter for 05 you can use this and don't even have to worry about temperature - though details there will depend on your specific kiln. Usually your kiln will come with instructions for a standard bisque firing. Read through operating instructions.
