I have seen some pics of half japanese, koreans and chinese who have blue, gray and green eyes (one parent is full blooded asian), how is this possible? Havent we always been told that dark eyes are the more dominant genes?
Allie E - I can tell the difference between colored contacts and real eye colour, contacts are not clear like real irises!
My sister's kids have blue/grey eyes and we are both 100% Chinese. For this to happen, my sister must have blue/grey eye recessive genes. I think in ancient times, when China got united into one country, there were many ethnic groups from the north or the west that may have blue/green eyes (you still see lots of them in XinJiang). Once they got assimilated into the majority population, the children could be carrying blue eye recessive genes.
