Maybe I am just a more practical person or something but I don't find clothes wadded up with rubber bands to look "like a baby" to be cute, nor do I find diaper cakes to be all that enjoyable. "Yay, thanks for the diapers that I now have to spend hours to undo. Yay."
What happened to just giving nice gifts in a box? Use some elegant gift wrap and ribbon if you need to let your artistic side out...
Or maybe I am just having a bad day... I dunno, I'm really moody today.
I don't mean at MY baby shower. I mean at baby showers in general that I attend, you know, with gift in hand. Its been years since my shower, I don't think it was as trendy to do crafts back then.
People are just trying to spruce up their gifts. Some people like to go outside of the normal baby shower gifts. My aunt made me a wreath of diapers, which I found to be nice.
I think you are just having a hormonal day though.
