i have a very large enclosure for my burmese python but i need a few ideas for hides?

my burm is 14 ft long so its very hard to find hides also has anyone got any ideas what i could use to fix climbing wood in my enclosure its wooden if that helps

your question kind of confuses me, in your title you asked for ideas about hiding places, and in your question you asked how to attach climbing wood? I'll try to answer both question for you:

HIDING PLACES:

i don't know exactly how large your cage is, but i have seen rubbermaid tubs and plastic kiddie pools cut and sanded to make a large cave-like hiding spot.

CLIMBING WOOD:

a piece of wood large enough to support your burm would weigh quite a bit so ordering a piece online would be pretty costly, so if you don't already have a piece of wood, i would suggest constructing a shelf-like climbing spot out of well sanded lumber. imagine a sideways " [ " shape with the short legs running perpendicular to the cage floor, and the long middle piece parallel to the floor of the cage, it could be made using two 2x4s attached together (making a cheaper 4x4). basically i a boxy arch that is made of lumber that could be screwed together (and to the cage wall) then the holes could be patched and sanded to prevent injury.

if you already have a nice piece of wood try suspending it from the rear using eye-hooks and wire/cable. then cut a piece of PVC pipe the same length as the wire to make a safe cover for it to keep the snake safe.
