Bonsai Flower

Has anyone ever had experience with bonsai evergreens that do really well indoors?
Does it have any scent? How large is it?
Would you recommend it ... I have a good green thumb...
Do you have any other species of bonsai to recommend? Like it flowers and needs moss at the base and maybe a few other little plants for a scene?

p.s. I did have one once, but it was rather frail... I was thinking of a more robust one.... this one lasted maybe 17 years,,,
It depends on what you are calling "evergreens." Depending on where you live, if you can plant a tree in your yard and it will be OK through a cold winter, it will not grow inside. It will think it is spring all the time and work itself to death. This would include pines, junipers, etc, and are often used for bonsai. Now. lots of species of trees that are used for bonsai will grow inside, but they will be tropical or sub-tropical.
